Our water is\u00a0sourced from specially selected pristine Australian springs, so it\u2019s\u00a0all natural. We want our water to stay pure, so we take great care\u00a0in bottling it up in the right way.<\/p><p>We believe in being as transparent as, well, water\u2026 about\u00a0the Nu-Pure production process, so we\u2019re breaking down\u00a0exactly what\u2019s in out packaging and why.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-62a7a07 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"62a7a07\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2 style=\"color: #192c61;\">Bottled Up<\/h2><p class=\"p2\">Our bottle is made from 100% recycled polyethylene terephthalate,\u00a0commonly known as rPET. All plastics aren\u2019t made equal and we\u00a0chose PET for a reason. The big advantage of PET is that it is 100% recyclable. If you pop it in the recycle bin, it can have another life\u00a0and be recycled again and again.\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"p2\">This is where our bottle comes\u00a0from!<\/p><p class=\"p2\">We also like PET because it\u2019s safer, both for the\u00a0<span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px;\">environment\u00a0and for you. Over its lifetime, PET has a lower carbon footprint\u00a0than both glass and aluminium and poses no risk of leaching or\u00a0contamina<\/span><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px;\">tion into our groundwater. It\u2019s also BPA free. Our caps are made of what\u2019s called high-density polyethylene\u00a0or HDPE. We use this kind of plastic because it\u2019s really strong \u2013 i.e. it won\u2019t break\u00a0open and flood your bag.<\/p><p class=\"p2\">The good news is, these caps are recyclable. They can be separated from bottles in the recycling plants. This recycled resin can be turned into a plastic material\u00a0that\u2019s used for furniture, building products, rubbish bins, agricultural film and even\u00a0playground equipment.<\/p><p class=\"p2\">That\u2019s right, the slide at the park could be made from recycled Nu-Pure bottle caps!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-551d2dc elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default qodef-elementor-content-no\" data-id=\"551d2dc\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-background-overlay\"><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-a8107bc\" data-id=\"a8107bc\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f31d19d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f31d19d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2 style=\"color: #192c61;\">What about labels?<\/h2><div class=\"et_pb_row et_pb_row_2\"><div class=\"et_pb_column et_pb_column_2_3 et_pb_column_4 et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode_passthrough\"><div class=\"et_pb_module et_pb_text et_pb_text_3 et_pb_text_align_left et_pb_bg_layout_light\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><p class=\"p1\">Our Nu-Pure labels are made from two types of polypropylene, they\u2019re called OPP\u00a0and BOPP. The plastics world loves an acronym. The recycled labels can be turned\u00a0into a plastic material that has similar uses to the bottle caps. To recycle them, just\u00a0pop the whole bottle into your recycling bin. During the washing and recycling\u00a0process, labels can be removed and processed.<\/p><p class=\"p1\">You might be wondering about the shrink wrap that transports our bottles. It\u2019s made of low-density polyethylene or LDPE. We use it because it\u2019s light, really strong and flexible, so it gets your bottles to the store safely. It is also recyclable. Recovered wrap has a range of uses, including manufacturing furniture, construction products and agricultural films.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"et_pb_row et_pb_row_3\"><div class=\"et_pb_column et_pb_column_4_4 et_pb_column_6 et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode_passthrough et-last-child\"><div class=\"et_pb_module et_pb_text et_pb_text_4 et_pb_text_align_left et_pb_bg_layout_light\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><p class=\"p1\">At Nu-Pure, we\u2019re all about balance.
